Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 2026
01. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Hub of Edits. By accessing our platform, utilizing our web-based tools, or installing our browser extensions (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Marek Szczepankiewicz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Services.
02. Media Extractors & DMCA Compliance
Copyright Notice & Passthrough Policy
By using tools such as the TikTok Downloader, eBay Media Downloader, or SVG Export, you confirm that you hold the copyright or have explicit permission from the original owner to download the target media. You must not download copyrighted material without authorization. We strictly comply with DMCA guidelines and global copyright laws.
- Passthrough Proxy Protocol: Hub of Edits acts solely as a real-time passthrough proxy. We do not host, store, cache, archive, or distribute any media assets on our servers.
- User Responsibility: You, the user, bear full and sole legal liability for ensuring that your extraction of text, images, or media complies with intellectual property laws and the Terms of Service of the respective target platform.
- Indemnification: By utilizing our extraction architecture, you agree to indemnify and hold Hub of Edits completely harmless from any DMCA claims, copyright strikes, or punitive damages resulting from your unauthorized use of downloaded content. We do not endorse or facilitate digital piracy.
03. Client-Side Editing Infrastructure
Certain tools on this platform, such as the Background Remover and Photo AI module, operate via client-side processing (utilizing WebAssembly and native browser WebGL parameters). This means the heavy computational load occurs on your personal device's CPU/GPU.
We are not responsible for software crashes, temporary memory lockups, or data loss caused by exceeding your hardware's processing limits during intensive editing sessions.
04. Account Limitations & Premium Access
Hub of Edits operates on a freemium model. Free usage is heavily monitored mathematically via local browser storage (quotas) or backend databases. Attempting to maliciously bypass these technical limitations (e.g., via automated scripts) constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in a permanent IP or account suspension.
