The "Client-Side Processing" Guarantee
Unlike traditional cloud editors that force you to upload your sensitive personal documents or family photos to an external server, Hub of Edits executes its Artificial Intelligence models locally within your web browser.
- When you upload an image to Remove Background or Photo Editor, the file never leaves your computer.
- The AI neural networks are downloaded to your RAM, processing the bytes locally.
- We have absolutely zero technical capability to view, intercept, store, or sell the images or PDFs you interact with on our platform.
Data We Actually Collect
While your files are invisible to us, we do collect necessary operational data to keep the platform running:
- Usage Telemetry: We store anonymous counts indicating how many times a browser has launched a specific tool. This is managed via LocalStorage and, where applicable, synced to our database to enforce free-usage quotas.
- Payment Information: For Premium Users, payment metadata is processed securely via Paddle. Hub of Edits never touches or stores your raw credit card numbers.
- Account Basics: If you register an account, we store your authenticated email address, user ID, and basic metadata related to your subscription tier.
Web-Based Media Extractors (Downloaders)
If you utilize our web-based extracting tools (such as the eBay Media Downloader):
These server-less modules establish direct, transient proxy connections to external unauthenticated endpoints to parse raw media elements. We do not save, archive, or cache the content you download. The tool acts purely as a local facilitator between the target listing and your personal device. We absolutely do not monitor or log the specific URLs you choose to analyze.
